The time was just after Japan’s defeat in World War II.
Japan was under the control of the U.S. military, and many U.S. soldiers came and went in each city.
One night, a famous local beauty (23 years old) was walking alone near Kakogawa Station.
Unfortunately, she was raped by several U.S. soldiers.
Then, They put bullets in her hands and feet to torment and kill her.
They left her on the road and walked away.
As she wandered near death, she was lucky enough to be discovered by a well-known local doctor who passed by the scene and
She survived at the cost of cutting off both of her arms and legs.
But the woman, who prided herself on her beauty, had no hope of living.
She was walking on the bridge of the then Japan National Railways (JNR) Kakogawa Line in a wheelchair when she saw an opportunity and knocked down her wheelchair.
Without arms or legs, she twisted and turned and threw herself onto a running train from the top of the bridge, killing herself.
Many people from the police and Japan National Railways collected pieces of her body on the tracks.
Curiously, no piece of flesh from the neck up was found.
But, times being what they were, after a few days, few people remembered the incident.
The incident occurred one day a few months later.
For some reason, people who were fine in the morning began to die strange deaths.
When it happened in one family, it would happen in the neighborhood.
The police began to get involved in earnest, and interviews with the families where the incidents had occurred revealed a common denominator.
On the morning of the day of death, the deceased would always say, “I saw a strange light yesterday night.”
The incident was actually reported in the newspapers at the time, and everyone in Kakogawa panicked.
The Kakogawa police station set up a task force to solve the case.
One of the police officers noticed something when he connected the homes where the incidents occurred on a map.
The curves were becoming the shape of a torso without arms and legs, and without a head.
This naturally led their to predict which area would be the next to suffer an incident.
So, they informed the residents to notify the police if they saw the “light” that was in the previous case.”
As expected, families on the curve said they saw the light and died.
But in fact, it was not a “light.”
On the day of the death, the morning confession of the deceased was as follows.
“For some reason, I woke up suddenly in the night.
I saw a faint light, and as I looked at it, it became a larger and larger light.
I looked closely and saw something moving in the light.
The object became larger and larger and came closer and closer to me.
The object is, to my surprise, a piece of flesh, a bloody torso without a head, arms, or legs, crawling toward me, moving its shoulders from side to side.
It was getting closer and closer, so I closed my eyes in fear.”
He said.
The next and every person who saw that same piece of flesh died.
So Those of us who predicted that I would be next were horrified.
A man went to Kashima Shrine (which many locals visit before taking exams, etc.), located between Kakogawa and Takasago (the next city over), to have a purification ceremony.
And there he was told this.
“I see a terrible resentment aimed at you beyond the darkness.
It is a grudge that cannot be wiped out by the purification ceremony. There is nothing you can do.
If there is only one way to protect you…
If a piece of meat crawls on you at night, never close your eyes and shout with your mouth, “Kashima-san, Kashima-san, Kashima-san, Kashima-san, three times, and call on the god of this shrine.”
That night, the piece of meat was still crawling. He opened his eyes desperately in fear and chanted “Kashima-san” three times.
Then the piece of meat crawled around the man in a circle and disappeared.
Normally, this would be the end of the story, but the resentment was so strong that the man continued to appear even after he left on his journey.
I do not know what happened to the man after that.
The only thing that is very troubling is that if you know this story, you will be in trouble.
It is said that a piece of meat will one day appear to the person who knows the story.
I (from Hyogo Prefecture) learned about this when I was in high school.
In my high school, it was forbidden by school rules to mention this story, either because it frightens people or because of fear of superstition.
Since you all found out about it on the Internet, I thought I’d share it with you.
I hope that Kashima-san (locals call the ghost piece of meat Kashima-san) will not appear.
If he does appear, be sure to keep your eyes closed and chant “Kashima-san” three times….
